WORLD WATER DAY 2025

IGMAN d.d. Konjic, March, 2025. - An international day to celebrate freshwater was recommended at the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED). The United Nations General Assembly responded by designating 22 March 1993 as the first World Water Day. This year's theme, "Glacier Conservation," emphasizes the importance of sustainable solutions that ensure the availability and quality of water for current and future generations.

Water protection is today one of global strategic goals and in that context “IGMAN” d.d.  company Konjic remains committed at managing wastewater quality, and researching, planning and eliminating the causes of water pollution.
It is important to point out that seven years ago, “Igman” installed and put into operation equipment for wastewater treatment from its own production.

In connection with the above, we remind that "Igman" has successfully recertified new versions of three international quality management standards, ISO 9001: 2015,  ISO 14001: 2015, and ISO 45001: 2018.
These certificates are the result of our dedication to quality and confirms our commitment to further development and improvement. We strengthen our position and continue to build a positive image on the world market. Also, certificates confirm our strong commitment to environmental protection and importance of providing a safe and healthy workplace for employees.
